Katie Simpson

Education: A.A.S. Interior Design, Scottsdale Community College and B.A. Creative Advertising, Southern Methodist University

While Katie may be relatively new to the design industry, she is definitely not lacking in worldly experience. She was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, but has lived all over the globe including London, Mexico City and Luxembourg. After graduating from SMU with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Advertising, she moved to New York City where she worked for four years in marketing and event planning. In 2016 she spent four months traveling the world and falling in love with global culture and design. This unique journey ultimately led her back to school to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College.

Having traveled to 43 countries (and counting), she brings a fresh perspective and a unique global design aesthetic to her work. When she is not dreaming up new spaces, she loves discovering hole-in-the-wall taco joints, camping around the state in her teardrop trailer and hanging out with her goldendoodle puppy named Skye.
